Easily view, query, and share clinical data

Achieve an EHR-agnostic, consolidated, clinical view of patients. With Mirth Results, store full patient demographics, as well as clinical and financial data. Seamlessly match patients across sources by leveraging the Enterprise Master Patient Index capabilities of Mirth Match.

A safe, secure, customized resource

Within Mirth Results, all access to clinical data is fully audited. Use our flexible consent model to restrict the viewing of patient data to specific providers, source data streams, and/or delivery sites based on configurable consent rules. Limit access to more confidential data (such as behavioral health or HIV data) in a patient's record using settings to determine multiple levels of confidentiality. Permit users to break the glass or unlock this data in specific, audited situations. Plus, you can support flexible deployment patterns, ranging from single centralized instances, to a more distributed, compartmentalized topology.

Automate data distribution

Automatically forward incoming clinical data messages (that match specific criteria) using notification subscriptions. Configure rules for use cases, such as for delivering messages about specific patients to a provider or practice, or for faxing lab results to a patient’s doctor. Deliver messages in a variety of formats, including PDF, CDA, C-CDA, or HL7. Forward messages to multiple destinations, including direct messages via Mirth Mail, fax, or passed to Mirth Connect for further transformation and distribution. Manually share any arbitrary result via the same methods (independent of your defined subscriptions).

How Data Flows into the Central Data Repository

Flexible Integration Options

Mirth Results can consume data in different formats and standards, making it very flexible and easy to integrate with the wide variety of EHR systems.

  • Supports IHE Profiles (XDS.b/XCA), eHealth Exchange, CDA/C-CDA, HL7v2
  • Leverages Mirth Connect to support a wider variety of message types feeding into Mirth Results
  • Works with Mirth Mail to send and receive Direct message payload

Claims support

To facilitate reporting, Mirth Results can store and correlate claims data with real-time clinical data. This is critical when taking on risk for defined patient populations in ACOs or other value-based payment models.

Mirth Match Enterprise Master Patient Index

Mirth Results integration with Mirth Match Enterprise Master Patient Index allows the creation of a longitudinal patient record from disparate data sources, so that care team members can access a community-wide view of the patient and share/receive comprehensive C-CDAs.

Results Portal with role-based access

Mirth Results includes a Provider Portal (both web-based and native iPhone app) for multiple roles (care team, HIE administrator, public health, etc.)

Semantic Standards

Mirth Results provides a platform to code data to terminology standards using provided code sets such as ICD-9, ICD-10, HL7, LOINC, RxNorm, and SNOMED.

Additional standards can be imported or custom code sets can be created for mapping incoming data. Code and concept mapping allows Mirth Results to help you map local codes, such as proprietary lab codes, to a standardized nomenclature such as LOINC.

Notification Functionality

Mirth Results offers powerful notification functionality so that information can be intelligently routed across a healthcare community to support care coordination efforts.

Patient Home Monitoring Data

Mirth Results can also store data collected from personal monitoring devices such as Fitbit, Withings, and iHealth.

Data is captured as discrete observations and is displayed graphically to show trending and alerts based on preset levels.

Extensions

Mirth Results extensions offer even more flexibility, allowing for integration with third-party services such as:

  • PACS vendors
  • State prescription drug monitoring programs
  • Immunization registries
  • Patient medication history

Mirth Results also supports the running of custom reports using a built-in reporting service. Mirth Results includes a REST API for third-party developer integration, providing secure access to patient and community information.
